Join us for a wild herb walk around the property at the Massabesic Audubon Center. We’re likely to find all sorts of medicinals such as goldenrod, rosehips, burdock, dandelion, plantain, elderberry, alder, wild cherry bark, and more. Clinical Herbalist Maria Noel Groves will teach you how to identify features of common, safe, medicinal plants and how to harvest and use them. Wildcrafting ethics will also be discussed. This walk is FREE with preference given to Holistic Mom’s Network members and Audubon volunteers/members (register early to ensure your spot!) Members please refer to the Yahoo loop and your Piing invite.
Non memebers can RSVP to the chapter leaders. If there are still spots available, non members will be notified to join the herb walk.
