When: March 11, 7pm to 9pm
Where: City of Fairfax Regional Library -Room 103 10360 North St, Fairfax, VA 22030
What is a clothes swap? A fun gathering that helps you clear out your closet and hopefully find something “new” to wear! Clothes swaps are a form of circular fashion, swaps keeps clothes out of landfills by going to someone else.
The focus is on women’s clothes and accessories of all sizes and styles*! Bring 1-20 items you no longer want to the HMN meeting. Good to new condition please (some wear or minor repairs are fine). Bring clothes, shoes, hats, accessories. *If you have books or housewares that you think fellow HMN members would like, those are fine to bring too! After everything is set up, everyone can go “shopping” and hopefully find a few items to take home!
This is a social event! There will be snacks/bring food or drink to share. You can try on clothes there or just select what you like to bring home. Tip: To try on clothes in the meeting room, wear leggings and a tank top so you can change there. This is a safe and fun social event, everyone is there to encourage each other with their new fabulous finds!
Clothes not swapped at the end of the evening can be brought back home or will be donated.
