Event: Easing Perimenopause through Nutrition and Lifestyle

November 19, 2023 @ 7:00 pm

While the transition to menopause is a completely natural process in a women’s fertility life cycle, perimenopause, or the timeframe leading up to it, is a period of many unwelcome symptoms (e.g., hot flashes, brain fog, fatigue) that derail a women’s quality of life. During this time, hormone signaling becomes unpredictable and the risk for cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis rise sharply. While hormone replacement therapy is the medical solution, addressing modifiable lifestyle factors as well as adding in evidence-based supportive practices/ nutraceuticals can make this transition appear almost effortless.

Join us for a presentation discussing nutritional and lifestyle supports for perimenopause presented by nutritionist, Margaret Stoklosa. As someone going through this transition herself, Margaret will discuss important dietary nutrients and key areas of focus for this empowering time. Margaret holds a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine and is a CNS (Certified Nutrition Specialist) candidate.

She is passionate about using nutrition and lifestyle to create a harmonious body balance and loves to talk about all things related to health and vitality. You can reach her at margaretstoklosanutrition@gmail.com or via Facebook @mswellnessnutrition.
