Forest Therapy is a research-based approach for supporting health and wellness through immersion in forests and other environments to promote the well-being of people and natural landscapes. It is a practice of spending time in forested &/or natural areas in order to invite healing interactions and enhance health, wellness and happiness. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, which translates as “forest bathing,” it makes space for deep listening and for a quiet and accepting presence.
We will enjoy the process of Forest Bathing with Roy Ringel, a certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide. Babies in slings and kids 7 and up are welcome, but the parents must be fully responsible for their children. Donation based payment to a guide (suggested payment $20 per person or $30 per family).
Participants MUST RSVP by Monday, May 29th to our email: email@example.com
Location: 6700 Needwood Rd, Derwood, MD 20855
