Freezer Meal Exchange ~ group is limited to 6 people to accommodate portion sizes. If there’s more interest a second group can be formed.
The rules:
We will meet the second Monday of each month to exchange. Each participant will prep and exchange two meals (one meat and one vegetarian). Each person will prep enough portions for 6 families, and each portion should be enough to feed a family of 5, in other words every participant is making 2 meals each with servings of each enough for 30 individual servings. There should be enough of each meal that each participant gets one portion with 5 servings of each meal. Meals can be either 1. cooked and frozen or 2. prepped but raw and frozen and ready for a slow cooker. Meals should be gluten free and dairy free and should be healthy. Pastas and breads should not be included in portions. Each portion will ideally be stored in a ziplock bag and labeled with Sharpie. Recipes will be posted each month in a google document access able to all members.
