Join us for a gentle yoga class with Rebecca Esko, RYT 200, who fell in love with yoga in 2005 and has been practicing ever since. Yoga has been invaluable to her throughout various injuries, health issues, during pregnancy, and post-partum depression. She completed her 200-hour teacher training through Kripalu and is working towards completion of their 300-hr curriculum. Rebecca is passionate about sharing Yoga with others: she believes yoga can help us center, build focus, and support deeper relaxation.
Rebecca’s Gentle Yoga class is appropriate for students of all levels, including new students and those returning to yoga after a break. This class offers nurturing poses with modifications for individual body types and abilities. We will practice some strengthening, some stretching, and some balancing. Students are encouraged to listen and respect their bodies because your body and its sensations are your own best teacher. Come and give your body, mind, and spirit the care they deserve.
Please bring a yoga mat, a yoga strap (or a couple old ties knotted together), and a pair of yoga blocks (or some books which can serve the same purpose) if you need them.
