Event: April Meeting: Growing our Gardens

April 2, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Ready to start your garden?
Wondering what you should plant?

Join HMN San Jose and Master Gardener Rhonda Kutche as she discusses what best to plant in spring, what plants are child-friendly, and quick growing to keep our children’s interest. If you’ve always wanted to start a garden, want to garden with your kids, or have a garden you’d love to improve, this is your chance to discover tips and techniques from a Master Gardener!

Rhonda Kutche grew up in a gardening family with a small orchard, veggie garden, chickens and bees. Rhonda studied horticulture at Foothill College, has been a Master Gardeners for 20 years, and is currently working as a plant care specialist for an interior plantscape company, Add Life.  She also ran school gardens (preschool and elementary) for 11 years and consulted with other school gardens, in her role as a Master Gardener, with a focus on gardening alongside children.
