Event: How to Help Children Who Are Struggling with Emotion Regulation, Sensory Processing, and Academics

July 19, 2021 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us to learn from Emily Roper, a Neuro-Developmental Delay therapist, as she talks about normal and abnormal brain development and how to help children who are struggling with emotion regulation, sensory processing, academics and more. She will discuss what happens during pregnancy, birth and early infancy and how those times set the foundation for the rest of a child’s future growth. She will also talk about options for helping children who are struggling. This topic applies to all ages.
Emily Roper is a Neuro-Developmental Delay therapist and owns a practice called Early Roots where she works with children who struggle with developmental delays. She got into this line of work after witnessing her cousin go through countless therapies and medications before finally finding something that helped. Emily has an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a post-graduate degree in Neuro-Developmental Delay and is a Certified Assistant Midwife. She loves working with kids who are struggling and helping families find real solutions. You can learn more about Emily at www.earlyrootstherapy.com
