Event: Kombucha

Winter is upon us and we are looking forward to Spring!  Indoor activities are always a great way to beat the winter blues.  Join us as one of our members leads us on how to make “Kombucha”.  What is “Kombucha”?  A beverage produced by fermenting sweet tea with a culture of yeast and bacteria.  Fermenting is gaining a resurgence and we want to learn more! One of our members will be sharing her scoby for a small donation ($1 for scoby in a bag, $4 for scoby and tea in a jar).  Please RSVP if you would like some starter scoby so we ensure that we have enough.  As always, children and guests are welcome!
