Ryann has been doing birth work for five years and has worked with hundreds of families. She is a student at Birthwise Midwifery School and expects to be a CPM by the end of 2017. Along with Brit Averill, Ryann recently opened NOVA Women’s Health Collective, and they hope to fill the space with affordable classes and offerings for birth workers and families. Ryann lives in Del Ray with her husband and three kids. Before her own experiences as a mother brought her to birthwork, Ryann was a lawyer. She is passionate about helping women claim ownership of their bodies and their fertility.
