Our speakers, Angela and Angie will be talking all about CBD.
Angela Halderson was born in Neenah, Wisconsin and was raised as a part of a traditional American family eating a Standard American Diet (SAD). After developing a growing interest in nutrition and learning how proper food choices can help people achieve optimal wellness, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Green Bay with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Human Biology with a Human Nutrition Emphasis. She completed her dietetic internship through Priority Nutrition Care Distance Dietetic Internship and is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals and is a graduate of the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy. She is a Certified Meridian Stress Assessment Technician and a certified health coach.
Angie Gibbs is originally from St. Paul Minnesota. She moved to the Fox Valley in 2003 and has been dedicated to health and wellness ever since. Due to her passion for sports and fitness she started working at Vitamin World in 2004 in Oshkosh. Soon after she grew a great joy for supplements and studied them in her down time. After working there, The Vitamin Shoppe opened in Appleton in 2007 which seemed to be geared more toward fitness supplements, so with her two passions she decided to make a career change and started working at The Vitamin Shoppe as an Assistant Manager. After working for almost 7 years with the company she was approached by a customer about a Store Manager position at Natural Healthy Concepts and has now been with NHC for over 7 years and her title is now Senior Director of Retail. During her time at NHC her passion grew more towards helping customers have the knowledge to be healthier. With this devotion to helping customers, in 2019 she became certified in Cannabis Patient Care so she could help the NHC team and customers trust in CBD.
