We’ve all heard about meditation but sometimes are not sure how to learn it or what to expect. Join us to learn about Sahaja Yoga Meditation from meditation instructors Oleg Kotliarsky and Alia Einstein-Diez where they will give us an introduction to meditation, lead us in a guided meditation and have time for Q&A. Meditation is best understood as a state of mental silence or ‘thoughtless awareness’ in which one is fully alert and aware but free of the unnecessary thoughts or worries that lead to many of life’s day to day stresses. Sahaja Meditation is designed to help you achieve a state of thoughtless awareness quickly, through the awakening of a powerful energy inside you. The techniques are intuitive and easy to learn and practice. No “prerequisites” required.
Oleg has been practicing Sahaja Meditation for thirty years. He has worked in software engineering for 25 years, is married with three kids, and enjoys sports, hiking and traveling. Alia has been practicing meditation since she was a child – over 30 years – and her three children also meditate. Alia is also a certified herbalist and a marketing writer for a vitamin and dietary supplement company. She enjoys spending time in nature with her family, hiking and biking.
