Two-part series with Bridget Keller — blurb below in Bridget’s words:
As we all know too well, getting a mother to unplug from her concerns long enough to “indulge” in self-care can be harder than getting children to eat vegetables. Heart-felt attempts are made, only to be abandoned for the sake of peace and/or efficiency. The issue most often isn’t what we want or need, but knowing HOW to get there? How can I feel OK enough to prioritize me, for however long it takes to plug in to myself so I can recharge, replenish and find time to bring meaning back into my life? If you’d like to explore feeling OK about making yourself matter, join me for two evenings of movement, mindfulness, guided meditation and real-time skill building around this very challenging topic. I don’t promise that you’ll go away a new woman, but we will take on the importance of consistently finding time for ourselves in lives that already seem too full.
*February 1: Movement, Mindfulness and Guided Meditation. Bring your yoga mat and your intention to take time for yourself.
*March 1: Beef up your communications tool kit. Explore what you want, and learn skills to actively, effectively ask for it. This will include practicing the art of mindfully saying NO! when that’s what you’d really like to say.
