Nicole Casbarro is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Preferred Pediatrics. She believes in a model of health that starts with good nutrition and includes herbal medicine, homeopathy, physical wellness and at times, the appropriate and judicious use of western modalities.
Nicole has over 15 years of pediatric nursing experience including Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric Hematology and Oncology and most recently the Pediatric Emergency Department. She is also an advanced Yoga teacher at the 500 hour level and has training and experience as a Yoga Therapist having worked for the Sutter Center for Integrative Health teaching Yoga to children with autism, bipolar and eating disorders as well as adults with chronic and terminal illness. She has studied medicinal herbalism at the Evergreen School of Integrative Herbology in Placerville, CA.
