Ecotherapy is an emerging modality that promotes healing by finding oneself in nature. By restoring individual connections to nature, we cultivate a deeper spiritual, emotional and physical awareness. We also learn how to create a reciprocal bond with nature, restoring nature as it restores us. Planting the seeds of connection within children takes the form of artistic expression, play, and increasing appreciation of nature. This presentation offers participants an overview of ways to connect children to nature around them, in order to support their formation of deep and lasting bonds with the Earth.
