Event: Monthly Meeting: Fukushima Then, and Now. What’s Happening, and What Can Moms Do to Best Safeguard our Families

October 5, 2015 @ 7:00 pm

It’s no secret that our environment has become toxic over the years. The American Cancer Society and National Cancer Institute estimate that 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer. Kimberly Roberson started the Fukushima Fallout Awareness Network in the spring of 2011 and recently co-produced the Radiation Awareness Protection Talk (RAPT) program to help people learn proactive steps to best protect ourselves and our families from harmful radiation.  Kimberly will update us on the Fukushima crisis and what can be done now.
Kimberly Roberson is a certified Nutrition Educator and former Greenpeace nuclear campaigner. She works as volunteer director of Fukushima Fallout Awareness Network (FFAN), and petitioned the FDA to lower the current allowable levels for radiation in food. She is the author of “Silence Deafening, Fukushima Fallout..A Mother’s Response” and co-producer of the Radiation Awareness Protection Talk (RAPT) program.  Kimberly is featured in an upcoming segment of Unity TV’s Positive Spin on Comcast and DirectTV July 25th and 26th and in the July issue of Natural Awakenings magazine.  She consults at www.NewHealthDesign.com.
