Calm Bodies, Calm Families: Using Basic Brain Science to Understand Your Children and Yourself

Have you heard about “sensory issues” in kiddos and wondered how that may apply to your own experience as a parent? Do you struggle to rectify developmentally inappropriate societal expectations of your child when your gut instinct as a parent tells you something feels mismatched? Are you curious about how natural-minded practices integrate with the science of child development and human connection? Join Pediatric OT Kim Oswald for an evening to delve into these questions (as well as some of your own)…and leave with some new tools, perspectives, and levity for your human experience dealing with mis-firing nervous systems, aka parenting!
