My name is Dr. Jessica Thalhamer, a house call chiropractor and single mom to an awesome little kiddo! But, please call me Dr. Jessica.
Throughout the years I have found a common answer to why people do not see a chiropractor is they don’t have time. I have also learned that people do not like waiting at a doctor office for X amount of time, sitting in New York traffic any more than they have to already, or getting all the kids dressed, ready, and in the car to then wait in an office waiting room until the doctor is ready to see you. When I became a mother, I realized this first hand. This is why I decided to become a house call chiropractor versus a traditional in office chiropractor.
Now for the qualifications. I received my Bachelor of Social Welfare and Master of Social Welfare at Stony Brook University graduating magna cum laude. I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia graduating cum laude. I am currently studying for my Pediatric Certification through the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics, Chiropractic Extremity Practitioner certification, Graston Technique Specialist certification, Diplomate in Applied Kinesiology, and Diplomate in Functional Neurology. I am a licensed chiropractor in New York State, Activator Basic and Advanced Certified, and AromaTouch Massage Technique certified. I am also a licensed New York State master social worker, but I am unable to see patients clinically due to New York State guidelines.
