This presentation will include mindful meditation practices that parents can take home to practice with their kids. Adriana Kowal, M.A., will share her approach, which is all about embodiment. We’ll work on active meditation practices that include mindful awareness of one’s body. The truth is that many kids are mindful already; you can learn to help them develop this further. We’ll also spend some time discussing what a “successful meditation” looks like. (This does not require sitting quietly on a pillow!) You can help your kids become more mindful. They can help you become more mindful. You can both have fun together!
