To celebrate Earth Day, we welcome Conservation Minnesota, an organization that advocates for clean energy and strong environmental protections at the state and local levels, including those that protect our health. John Anderson, Community Coordinator, will discuss water quality and energy issues in our state, and what we can do to help ensure clean air and water in Minnesota. Kathleen Schuler, Healthy Kids and Families Program Director, will provide an in-depth look at the risks to our health from chemical exposures in our homes and in our environment and what we can do about it. She will provide practical consumer tips on safer products and discuss policies Conservation Minnesota is advocating for at the state Capitol to protect our health from unnecessary exposures to toxic flame retardants and other chemicals.
