As we leave the darkness of winter and enter into the light of spring may we come together to learn self-care techniques that will help us to remain centered and healthy mentally/emotionally, physically and spiritually. The information shared has its origins in Maya Abdominal Therapy. We will discuss simple techniques of creating self-care in our homes by looking at a variety of techniques. Each participant shall leave with a self-care Rx for self.
Trish DeTura is a wife and a mother of four adult children.Her background is in Midwifery, Maya Abdominal Therapy, and Massage and Body Work. Currently Trish has a Maya Abdominal Therapy practice where she offers support from womb to tomb, is the Co-Leader of Bergen County ICAN and Co-facilitates a MotherWoman support group for birth workers to be able to process negative outcomes of births as well as discuss how to balance birth work and family life.
