The Holistic Mom’s summer meeting will be held on a farm! Join us Friday, July 24 from 10-12 pm at Hesperides Organica Farm, 243 Round Hill Road, Florida, NY 10921. (The farm is about one hour from Bergen County). Hesperides Organica is located in the Black Dirt region of Orange County, NY and grows vegetables & herbs.
Hesperides Organica sells produce to members in New Jersey with several pick-up locations through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program where members receive a box of freshly picked vegetable & herbs each week. The main pickup location is in Hawthorne, NJ.
Join us at the farm’s Pick-Your-Own fields and let the kids find about locally grown produce, how to start a garden at home, saving seeds, composting & more.
Be sure to wear old shoes! They’ll never be the same after walking in the Black Dirt!
