Event: Monthly Meeting: Thermography with Lisa Mack, CCT, CNC, HHC

January 13, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Come learn about Thermography, a radiation-free state-of-the-art screening procedure that captures heat images of the breast to aid in the early detection of breast cancer through digital infrared thermal imaging. Where a mammography looks for the tumor after it has formed, a density, thermography looks for the physiology that feeds the tumor. There is also no compression or risk of damage to implants or underlying breast tissue. Thermography can also be used for full body screening, for both men and women, for early detection and differential analysis of abnormal vascular activity, inflammation and pain.

It was approved by the FDA for breast screening in 1982 and can detect early danger signs in the body years before other tools. It has been shown to be effective in finding early signs of breast disease up to 8 years before mammography may detect it.

Lisa Mack, CCT, CNC, HHC, dealt with a heart disease diagnosis at 25 years old and needed open heart surgery. She was told she could not have children and dealt with other health issues related to the heart disease. She defied the odds and, through her exercise and nutritional routine, kept herself alive, healthy, and has 3 children. She decided to become a Holistic Wellness Counselor and then took her passion further in 2012 and became a Certified Thermographic Technician, opening her own lab. Lisa’s Thermography and Wellness has several locations throughout New Jersey and New York.

Members, non-members, and children are welcome at our monthly meeting.
