anuary’s meeting will be a double feature with two discussion topics. Suzanne Roberts, HMN co-Leader, will present information on Greensurance, a new Health Share co-op alternative to traditional health insurance. The Greensurance co-ops satisfy the Affordable Care Act (i.e. Obamacare) requirement for mandatory health insurance. The co-ops are not insurance though. They are cost sharing plans, with significantly lower premiums and often lower deductibles. In addition these two co-ops offer coverage for holistic health care services not traditionally covered by insurance. One co-op is very broad in its coverage including energy healing and light and sound therapies among other protocols. Please join us for an overview of how the co-ops work and the protections they offer those using out of the mainstream healing modalities (both patients/clients and providers).
