Melissa will share ideas on how she feeds her family of four nutritious and flavorful meals on a tight budget. Learn how to examine food waste in your household and make a plan to cook and preserve all the food you purchase.Donations from local farms will give you the opportunity to examine a CSA box and plan a cooking and preserving strategy. CSA boxes will be raffled off at the end of the evening.Leave knowing how to reduce or eliminate food waste from your household while saving money and eating delicious, healthy food.
