On January 17 at 6:30 p.m., join the Holistic Moms Network’s New Haven County chapter as we transition to the new year head, setting intentions for what we hope 2023 will hold for us. The wisdom circle will be held as part of the chapter’s monthly meeting, which is open to the public. It will take place in person at Nate’s Plates in Milford, Conn.
We are all so busy with schoolwork, extracurricular activities, family time, chores, trips, sports and more. Setting your unique intentions for the new year reminds you of the things that you want to accomplish or have in your life in 2023. It helps you remember your goals, positive ideas, feelings and projects that you want to do. In this wisdom circle, Dr. Loren Hager, and chapter co-community organizers Tori Lawlor and Ariana Fine will facilitate our intention-setting discussions with ideas, local resources and much more.
Dr. Hager is a chiropractic physician, applied clinical nutritionist and a 500-hour certified vinyasa yoga teacher. She focuses on the whole patient to help them find better health and vitality. Dr. Hager works with people who struggle with hormonal issues, fatigue, sleep problems, weight issues, fertility and sex-drive issues, as well as other chronic health problems to find relief and better health.
Nate’s Plates (NatesPlates.net) is a local eatery, located at 2 Schooner Lane in Milford, which focuses on locally sourced fresh products and ingredients as much as possible, gluten- and dairy-free choices, ready-to-go meal options, and much more.
About Holistic Moms Network (HolisticMoms.org)
The mission of Holistic Moms Network, a nonprofit support and discussion network, is to connect parents who are interested in holistic health and green living. It welcomes people wherever they are on their own holistic path in an environment that does not judge. The New Haven County chapter follows the Holistic Moms Network’s drive to encourage parents to use their innate sense of what is best for their children and the Earth while learning more about healthcare and parenting options. Living healthy and living green is not an endpoint, but an ongoing journey.
Our general meetings, open to the public, are held on the third Tuesday of each month. RSVP to Tori Lawlor at tdavisca@aol.com or on Facebook.com/HMNNewHaven’s event tab.
