I know that the holidays are fast approaching and that as mothers, we end up giving, giving, giving of ourselves and our time.
My intention behind this next meeting is to connect with each other and celebrate the art of giving.
Think about your favorite things….
We’re asking each of you to bring 5 identical favorite things, with a value of no more than $5/each.
Here are some ideas of things you could bring:
*Favorite make-up/chapstick
*Snacks/chocolate
*Blank journal
*Recipe & ingredients
*Favorite coffee or tea
*Travel sized items
*Kitchen gadget
*Book (from sale bin? or used?)
*Seeds
*Homemade jam
*A house plant (someone rooted clippings)
*Candle
*Pen and notebook
*Soap
*Homemade cloth napkins
*Knitted or crochet items
*Homemade vanilla
**Look around your life – the stores you shop in…Trader Joe’s has lots of fun, small things…places like TJ Maxx have discounted items. Even Frontier (our on-line shopping co-op) has great prices on lots of items.
My hope is that you can be inspired to bring something you love and share it with all of us. Each of us will leave with 5 awesome, thoughtful gifts.
