Goats and chickens, raspberries and apples – oh my! Explore the Drought family u-pick orchard with your kids. Plenty of space to run, animals to see, and gobs of juicy, red raspberries to pick and turn your kids into ruby-lipped zombies. (If Mother Nature cooperates, Zestar apples may be ready for picking, too.)
Orchard Store also will open especially for us (it’s pre-season!) with deals on raspberries ($3/pint) and eggs ($4/dozen; notice needed; RSVP to reserve). Bring your lunch and we’ll gather at the picnic tables later.
