We invite you to learn about this outstanding organization and the basic principles of a healthy diet. Dr. Weston A Price was a Cleveland dentist on a mission during the 1930’s to study healthy peoples around the world not yet influenced by western civilization. He wanted to discover exactly what brought these populations such good dental health and zero facial deformities or disease.
This talk will be given by founding member of the Pasadena chapter of the WAP Foundation, Karen Voelkening-Behegan, whom is getting ready to celebrate their group’s 100th meeting! The Foundation is dedicated to restoring nutrient-dense foods to the human diet through education, research and activism. It supports a number of movements that contribute to this objective including accurate nutrition instruction, organic and biodynamic farming, pasture-feeding of livestock, community-supported farms, honest and informative labeling, prepared parenting and nurturing therapies.
