Yoga is like ice cream; there are many flavors and they all look good: power, Bikram, Kundalini, Gentle, the list goes on and on. The only way to truly decide which style of yoga works best for you is to try a few different kinds and choose the one that gives you that really good feeling; it puts you in that yum-I-love-this zone.
Join the Holistic Moms Network of Hillsborough County, NH at our February monthly meeting, Thursday, February 16 at 7:15pm, as we are guided through some of yoga’s many different styles.

About Our Volunteer Speaker of the Month, Victoria Mittell, Owner of Shush Yoga in Hollis, NH (www.shush.yoga):
Victoria’s path to yoga began at a young age in England when she would meditate to reduce stress and anxiety before exams. She discovered the physical practice of yoga on her move here and felt an immediate connection.
Victoria completed her YTT-200 earlier this year with Yoga NH and is a registered member of Yoga Alliance. She appreciates all forms of yoga, leading classes in Yoga for All Levels, Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga for Runners, Yoga Nidra and prenatal/postpartum yoga, and more. In addition, Victoria loves teaching yoga to children, believing that the sooner children are introduced to the practice, the more beneficial it is to them. Victoria is Reiki attuned, and an ACE accredited Thrive Barre Instructor. She has also trained in ‘Yoga for Warriors’ with Beryll Bender Birch, and will become a Reiki Master in the near future.
